Typically cat pictures and popular culture references are used as a basis for sonification processes. While potentially aesthetically pleasing, these reveal little to do with how the pixels of an image are actually being manipulated or how we can investigate glitch as more than a passing effect. In order to best investigate a process like this I have gone about creating test screens that analyse how sonification processes affect colours, patterns, shapes and grids. The 100 point grid appears on both of the test screens in order to better plot how areas are moved and structured. whilst the shapes, patterns and colours allow more variables to be investigated when the context requires them. Due to the varying effects of the processes, both of the screens have been alternated or used in succession to best analyse the aspects of a process.
